SUNY Geneseo’s partnership programs offer students the opportunity to pursue graduate studies in a variety of fields, such as pre-medicine, engineering, education, and business to name a few.

Cross-Registration at Rochester Colleges

Geneseo students are eligible to enroll in up to two courses per semester at any of the 12 colleges and universities that comprise the Rochester Area College Consortium - including the University of Rochester and the Rochester Institute of Technology - at no additional cost.

Air Force and Army ROTC

Can I get scholarships or financial aid?

Yes. Scholarships, grants, and/or financial aid are available to attend Geneseo.

Free tuition: If you're a NY State resident, you may be able to attend Geneseo tuition-free through the Excelsior Scholarship program.

Merit scholarships: Every student is automatically considered for scholarships. Last year we awarded $3.4 million and we’ve increased that funding this year.

Grants and aid: Federal, NY State and SUNY grants are available and awarded based on financial need.

What is there to do at Geneseo?

There are more than 180 student organizations and dozens of official sports teams and club sports groups.

How big are classes?

Classes at Geneseo are generally small. On average, there are 22 students per class.

That means closer interaction with professors, a better learning environment, and the chance to make important career connections.
